What We Do

Mining

“Our operations deliver the essential minerals that sustain modern life”

As a trusted leader in the resource sector, GH Mining is committed to delivering high-quality minerals through responsible exploration, efficient production, and sustainable practices. Our work supports critical industries, strengthens regional economies, and drives long-term growth across the communities we serve. With a focus on safety, innovation, and environmental stewardship, GH Mining continues to provide the essential resources that modern life depends on.

Iron Ore:

Iron ore is one of the most essential raw materials for global steel production, forming the backbone of construction, infrastructure, transportation, and manufacturing. GH Mining develops high-potential iron ore deposits across West Africa, focusing on responsible extraction, efficient processing, and long-term sustainability.

High-Grade Magnetite Deposits (Fatao Project – Mali)

The Fatao concession hosts widespread magnetite-rich iron ore with large surface boulders and strong magnetic signatures. Exploration across 46 km² identified 21 km² of high-potential zones, with estimated resources of +18 million tonnes of iron ore.

Proven Iron Ore Reserves (Dogoro Project – Mali)

The Dogoro Iron Ore Permit covers 765 km² and contains 272 million tonnes of proven iron ore reserves. The mineralization includes hematite, maghemite, and BIF formations with Fe grades between 58% and 66%, making it suitable for steel-grade production.

Manganese Ore

Manganese is an essential mineral used in steelmaking, battery technology, chemical industries, and advanced alloys. Found in nature as high-grade ore bodies, manganese is processed through crushing, screening, and beneficiation to produce export-ready ore used by global steel manufacturers and battery producers.GH Mining develops high-quality manganese deposits with strong grades, low-cost mining conditions, and significant long-term production potential. Our operations supply manganese that supports global industry, infrastructure, and clean-energy development.

High-Grade Manganese Resources (Tomoromadji Project – Senegal)

The Tomoromadji Manganese Project hosts over 10 million tonnes of manganese resources across the Keneba, Madina Foulbé, and Tomoromadji zones. High-grade areas contain 30–45% Mn, while medium-grade deposits can be upgraded to 35–40% Mn through simple processing. With a low stripping ratio and proven ore continuity, the project supports long-life, cost-efficient open-pit mining and export-grade production.

Approved Manganese Mine Plan (Kibutuka Project – Tanzania)

* The Kibutuka Manganese Project covers 75.68 hectares under 8 Primary Mining Licenses and contains 240,126 tonnes ROM of manganese ore with an average grade of 32.5% MnO₂. The deposit is shallow and suited for strip mining, with a planned life of mine of 3–4 years. The project includes an approved mine plan with structured environmental management, progressive rehabilitation, and readiness for near-term production.

Gold Ore

Libidor Gold Mining owns a 500-hectare industrial exploitation permit in Bondala, located in the Kédougou region of Eastern Senegal, along the Falémé River. The project focuses on the exploration, prospection, production, and commercialization of gold within one of West Africa’s richest gold belts. The site includes a fully equipped operational camp, installed gravimetric gold processing systems, and visible gold occurrences ranging from fine particles to multi-gram nuggets. Gold purity reaches 94% (23 carats), confirming the high-grade nature of the deposit.

High-Purity Alluvial Gold Deposit (Bondala Gold Project – Senegal)

The Bondala Gold Project covers a 500-hectare industrial exploitation permit located in the Kédougou region of Eastern Senegal, positioned within the highly prospective Kédougou–Mali Gold Belt. The project contains alluvial and eluvial gold occurrences with proven high purity at 94% (23 carats). Gold is found in fine particles, medium grains, and natural nuggets, confirming strong mineralization across the concession. With a fully operational camp and an installed gravimetric processing plant, the project is ready for continuous gold production

Fully Operational Gold Processing Facility (Libidor Base Camp – Senegal)

GH Mining operates a complete on-site processing and logistical setup, including a gravimetric gold processing plant, 9 permanent bungalows, and 5 mobile living units. The processing system efficiently recovers gold from alluvial deposits and supports steady operational throughput. Stockpiled ore is already available on site, allowing fast deployment of production activities and scaling of output as needed.

Heavy Mineral Sands

GH Mining explores and develops high-value heavy mineral sand deposits containing ilmenite, rutile, zircon, magnetite, and garnet. These minerals are essential for producing pigments, ceramics, welding rods, alloys, and advanced industrial materials. Our operations in the Bijagós Archipelago of Guinea-Bissau cover large coastal placer systems formed by natural wave and wind concentration, offering shallow, easily mineable deposits with strong commercial potential.

Extensive Heavy Mineral Sand Potential (Bijagós Archipelago – Guinea Bissau)

GH Mining conducted a 30-day prospecting mission across the Bijagós Archipelago, covering 21 islands to evaluate coastal heavy mineral sand deposits. Detailed geological mapping, pitting, trenching, and geophysical surveys identified 16 islands with economically interesting heavy mineral concentrations. Mineralized zones occur as coastal placers formed by natural winnowing processes, containing ilmenite, rutile, zircon, magnetite, and garnet. The deposits are shallow, lateritic–beach hosted, and suitable for large-scale dredging or surface mining.

Large-Scale Resource Spread Across Multiple Islands (1855.64 hectares identified)

Prospecting results delineated 1,855.64 hectares of mineralized coastal sand across the key islands of Joao Viera, Meio, Cavalo, Canhabaque, Unhocomo, Caravel, Pecixe, Imbone, and others. Average ore layer thickness ranges from 0.33 – 0.87 m, with continuous bands of black (ilmenite–magnetite) and reddish (garnet-rich) sands visible along beaches. These deposits represent significant potential for commercial heavy mineral extraction.

Where We Operate (Heavy Mineral Sands):

  • Guinea Bissau – Bijagós Archipelago Heavy Mineral Project

GH Mining focuses on long-term, responsible growth to deliver superior shareholder returns. We develop high-quality ore bodies into efficient, long-life operations in West Africa. Our mining and processing of minerals meet vital consumer needs, improve living standards, and are conducted safely, responsibly, and sustainably.
